Bob rose to world star status by taking his message of Peace, Unity, and “One Love” to ALL to the world and our goal is to promote the same. Also, Bob & Rita Marley’s second son, and four-time Grammy Award winning artist, Stephen Marley was born in Wilmington. Since 1994, The Peoples’ Festival 4Peace & Tribute to Bob Marley has welcomed close to 100,000 families from around the country in Peace, Unity and “One Love” to the first place, outside of Jamaica, Bob Marley called home: Wilmington, Delaware where his family resided and where his children had their only public school experience.ĭuring his time in Wilmington, Bob worked for two iconic corporations in the state of Delaware, the Chrysler Corporation and DuPont.
